Wu Yi said IPR protection was internal requirement of stepping up Chinese economic construction and social development. China attached great importance to protect foreign IPR as well as IPR of our country. China did a lot in legislation and enforcement of the law on IPR protection and got achievements obvious to all.
She emphasized that any country had a developing process to set up perfect IPR protection system and improve awareness of IPR protection. We did not deny that there existed problems in IPR protection, but these problems attracted much attention and were solved one by one.
Chinese resolution is accordance with attitude for IPR protection, the owner of IPR from any country will be protected in China Producing and marketing patent infringement and shoddy goods must be punished in accordance with the law. We hope that US can appraise the achievements of Chinese IPR protection, less criticism and more cooperation and communication to promote the development of IPR protection.
Wu Yi said JCCT was an important cooperation system between China and US; we should make it into full play, and solve problems of bilateral trade to promote bilateral cooperation development.
