ApparelOrb, pattern making and 3D fitting services provider for the apparel industry, is set to introduce StyleCAD, a leading provider of 2D pattern making and 3D computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM) and virtual prototyping software solutions, at a seminar in Delhi, on February 27, 2015.
StyleCAD’s advanced technology includes several major exclusive developments within the program that significantly improves the design and development workflow for pattern development, production cutting, and virtual prototyping.

The virtual technology provides a 30-50 per cent improvement in productivity with increased customer response. It also gives seamless integration between pattern design and grading systems and has error checking capabilities, ApparelOrb said in a statement.
With auto-marking system and multimedia voice assistant, StyleCAD also provides sophisticated reports with Microsoft Excel and Word. It also has a built-in relational database interface and integrated email service.
At the seminar, ApparelOrb will also open a design and pattern training institute with a broad base of applied technical skills, competencies and knowledge, typical of dynamic apparel business.
The institute is expected to provide comprehensive and latest technology software trainings to impart both practical and theoretical lessons to merchandisers, garment technicians, production managers, and designers. (GK)
