Bluesign launched a fully integrated cloud computing solution at ITMA being currently held in Barcelona, Spain. The new service platform called Bluesign Cube provides continuously expanding and updated information, applications and modular services for chemical change management to deal with resource consumption reducing risks at all levels of the value chain.

Digitalisation is bringing new opportunities, and Bluesign’s cloud-based integration will provide additional, far-reaching possibilities for the industry and its players in a new dimension, said Bluesign in a press release.

“The Bluesign Cube will become an outstanding, powerful tool for responsible business decisions and investments with reduced risks. All information is based on verified data, and the services provided will drive a company’s sustainability performance,” said Christian Dreszig, head of marketing and communication at Bluesign.

The Bluesign System is the key to sustainable textile production. It eliminates harmful substances right from the beginning of the manufacturing process as well as sets and controls standards for an environmentally friendly and safe production. This not only ensures that the final textile product meets very stringent consumer safety requirements worldwide, but also provides confidence to the consumer in acquiring a sustainable product.
