British lifestyle brand, Carlton London, has partnered with Ace Turtle, Asia’s omni-channel platform company, to scale up its ecommerce business in India. Ace Turtle’s omni-channel platform Rubicon will power Carlton London’s ecommerce business through a seamless inventory and catalogue management across existing and new demand generation channels.

Rubicon will provide real-time information about the availability of inventory across the brand, regardless of which channel is accessed. Moreover, a single feed of catalogue, pricing, and inventory shared with all multiple retail channels will ensure consistent brand representation, feature rich descriptions and real-time inventory for better control in the multiple retail channels.

Having a meaningful presence across multiple retail channels has become one of the top priorities of any large brand. However, control over the presence of inventory across multiple retail channels has always been a challenge that retailers are grappling with. Ace Turtle’s Rubicon platform through its tech capabilities aligns inventory view and allocation of stock towards the channel that performs the best.

Kim Virk, Carlton London business head, said “India’s retail consumerism is going through a paradigm shift with customers interacting with brands through various channels. The rise of e-commerce has ensured growing dominance of online channels, as one of the most preferred platforms to optimise sales. However, adoption of technology becomes critical in ensuring optimisation of fulfilment using data. Ace Turtle, over the past few years, has emerged as the market leader in technology for omni-channel enablement of some of the premium retail brands we are confident that Ace Turtle’s platform will add significant value in scaling up our omni-channel business in India”.

Carlton London has already emerged as a successful brand in Indian market with stores located across prime locations in North India. Getting into multiple retail channels operation is a part of the brand’s larger omni-channel strategy to reach out to a wider audience across geographies.

Nitin Chhabra, CEO, Ace Turtle said, “Carlton London as a brand has witnessed tremendous success globally with its unique collections tailor-made for premium style focussed consumers. We are confident that our platform which has already catapulted ecommerce enablement for several premium brands would be of great value to Carlton London in optimising their sales across leading retail channels in India”.
