Mi9 Retail, a provider of omni-channel retail solutions, has been named a leader in the IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Point-of-Sale (POS) Software in Small and Midsize Retail Apparel and Softlines 2018. IDC MarketScape vendor analysis model provides an overview of the competitive fitness of information and communications technology suppliers in a given market.

The technology landscape for POS continues to change as retailers look for new ways to engage with their connected customers. Today’s point-of-sale must facilitate omni-channel transactions as well as provide the store associate with detailed information about the customer, their order history, their preferences, and even make personalised recommendations about additional products and services.
