Retail Pro, a world-class provider of retail management solutions for specialty retailers, has announced its new alliance with Retailigence, a Silicon-Valley based venture-backed company that uses local inventory obtained directly from retailers to connect shoppers with products around them thereby greatly enhancing marketing campaigns.

Complementing the Retail Pro software, known for its impressive adaptability and multi-channel prowess, the Retailigence Platform Plugin will help increase marketing over multiple channels, and capture previously unavailable consumer data for retailers. This data can then be further utilized in creating even more targeted campaigns in the future.

Retailigence puts the inventory data of Retailers and Brands into its service platform, making it available to power local product searches or push marketing to any channel, including fragmented channels such as third party mobile and web applications. The Retailigence platform can also capture previously unattainable data of offline consumer purchase intent behavior, another valuable tool for the Retailers. By integrating our individual solutions, both companies are now able to offer turn-key solutions to its retail customers who are looking to jump into the fast growing mobile shopping channel.

“Integration with point of sale systems leaders like Retail Pro is our strategic focus as it makes demand generation an organic extension of the already deployed, robust retail management system. It is the simplest solution for busy retailers. We are truly excited about the potential that this relationship opens up for both our companies.” – Jeremy Geiger, CEO Retailigence Corp.

Retailers accustomed to the user interface flexibility and extensive retail management tools provided by Retail Pro software will build on these renowned benefits. The addition of the Retailigence Plugin will offer an increase in qualified foot traffic with a high intent of purchase, and rich offline purchase behavior data for marketing optimization and inventory distribution.

“Here at Retail Pro we understand the need of merchants to drive qualified traffic, engage consumers and achieve high sales numbers while running a brutally efficient operation.”-said Kerry Lemos, CEO of Retail Pro International. “Our new alliance partner Retailigence will allow our customers to capitalize on that efficiency by uniting the highly fragmented marketing channels and opportunities into a single platform.”

The Retailigence solution will be showcased at the Discover Retail Showcase at the 2011 Retail Pro Global conference, where Retailers will have a chance to ask questions, test the solution and witness the results.
