Apparel players together for best practices workshop

Computer Generated Solutions (CGS), a leading global provider of technology solutions held a client event yesterday for BlueCherry, their premier enterprise resource planning solution for the fashion industry.
The BlueCherry Community Link-Up Event brought together over 150 CGS clients, such as Betsey Johnson, Marc Jacobs, Richard Leeds and Ellery Homestyles among others, for a solutions workshop and networking reception. The event was specifically designed based on client feedback to extend the value of their investment in CGS and facilitate networking within the BlueCherry User Community.
The sessions concentrated on core BlueCherry solution points such as: PLM, Warehouse Management and EDI, and also featured training sessions on report building and allocation. These sessions were created to provide BlueCherry clients with specific tips and tricks they could bring back to their teams and quickly implement.
The Community Link-Up event ended with the "Meet, Munch, and Mingle" cocktail reception, which gave BlueCherry clients the opportunity to network with their industry peers and share their own best practices on the BlueCherry solution.
"Our community events are an ideal way to bring our clients and the BlueCherry team together to consistently update them on best practices and to facilitate collaboration. The event also allows our team to gain strategic feedback from our clients so we can continually improve our solution and offer them the features and functionality they need," said Paul Magel, President of the CGS Application Solutions Group.
