Incorporatewear Ltd, the UK's premier corporate clothing company, has recently formalised its high level of systems security by becoming PCI DSS compliant.

The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) is one of the most prescriptive data protection standards ever developed and will give clients both new and prospective the confidence that their business and wearer data is secure.

PCI DSS originally began as five different programs run by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and JCB. Each company's intentions were broadly similar: to create an additional level of protection for card issuers by ensuring that merchants meet minimum levels of security when they store, process and transmit cardholder data.

Incorporatewear, based in Coleshill, have developed the policy alongside Bradford based ECSC Ltd who will now continue to monitor system security going forward.

Ian Favell, I.S. Projects Manager at Incorporatewear comments “The on-going security of our IT systems is paramount to Incorporatewear. Attaining PCI DSS compliance is the initial standard for the company, however, we will continue to work alongside ECSC to ensure that all our client, wearer and payment information continues to stay secure.”

Technological developments including; online wearer ordering, client monitoring systems and mobile applications have helped ensure that Incorporatewear is at the forefront of corporate clothing technology. The company is looking forward to showing off its latest developments at the upcoming Workwear and Corporate Clothing Show.

Ian continues “This is set to be an exciting year for Incorporatewear and we are now well placed to build on our infrastructure as the company continues to grow.”

James Noel at ECSC Ltd states "PCI DSS compliance is a constant challenge for organisations that store and process credit card information, particularly with the continuous development of payment systems and web technology. Incorporatewear have chosen to stay one step ahead with their system security which will give their clients significant piece of mind.”

Incorporatewear supply corporate clothing to a variety of blue-chip organisations including Virgin Atlantic, Nationwide Building Society and HSBC.
