FaceCake displays retail try-on technologies at NRF show

FaceCake Marketing Technologies, Inc. is previewing its revolutionary augmented retail Try-On technologies in Microsoft's booth (#1005) at the 102nd annual NRF Convention & Expo on January 14-15, 2013, at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City.

Utilizing cutting-edge technology, FaceCake Augmented Retail provides an immersive Try-On shopping platform that brings retailers face-to-face with customers wherever they are. Swivel Digital Signage draws shoppers into stores. Swivel Virtual Dressing Room gives them product Try-On capabilities beyond the normal limits. Try-On rich media banners engage them from their computers and our mobile solutions engage them from their phones. With FaceCake's interactive virtual Try-On, real-time product recommendations and detailed consumer metrics, building sales with targeted marketing takes on a whole new reality.

Debuting at Retail's BIG Show 2013 is the new Swivel Close-Up by FaceCake, which provides consumers the opportunity to try on cosmetics and accessories within a two-foot environment— literally mirroring the in-store experience, but better. Swivel Close-Up will drive shopper interest and interaction, converting browsers into buyers.

FaceCake is also unveiling its innovative in-banner Try-On ad unit, which spans both desktop and mobile. Try-On banners allow users to view featured products on their own image without leaving the page, providing levels of personalized interaction that have not existed previously in traditional banner advertising. FaceCake's Try-On banner ads engage users longer than traditional ad units, building brand and product awareness with every in-banner click, and unlocking social shopping in ways that are totally new to display advertising.

Swivel Digital Signage transforms retail storefronts creating instant personalized product engagement. This technology allows shoppers to virtually Try-On products even before they enter the store, as well as throughout the retail environment—turning standard displays into personalized style experiences.

FaceCake's interactive shopping platform changes the way consumers engage with retailers' products with every Try-On, unlocking meaningful data that retailers can leverage across inventory, supply chain, purchasing and marketing. And, working together with Microsoft, using products including Kinect for Windows and the Windows Embedded 8 platform, FaceCake provides a scalable and easily integrated solution for retailers.
