Everything about the way Bonobos operates is unique and innovative. Bonobos started out as a manufacturer online, and has now taken over the men’s market. Through the strategic use of the internet and social media, Bonobos has grown into the largest apparel brand ever built on the web in the United States.
Bonobos has also evolved its business model offline, changing the way men shop, with the creation of Guideshops. Guideshops serve as product showrooms for customers who want to touch, feel and try on clothes before committing to a purchase.
Bonobos recently went live on Simparel’s Unified Global ERP Solution, making an investment in their infrastructure to support their continued growth and expansion.
Although they sell online, Bonobos is still a manufacturer, so they needed to find a fashion specific ERP solution that could support the company’s rapid growth through improved operational efficiencies and cycle time reductions. Finding an ERP solution that could easily integrate with their online operations was a challenge, but the flexibility within Simparel proved to be a perfect fit.
As an online retailer, having accurate, detailed and real-time visibility to information at all touch points throughout the organization is key to Bonobos’ success.
Leveraging the existing infrastructure, Simparel is tightly integrated and shares, creates and validates data throughout the Bonobos order and fulfillment supply chain. Both Bonobos and Simparel were pleased that, aside from the integration challenge, the system was implemented “out of the box” with little modification.
