Ingenico latest generation terminals certified by EMP

Ingenico, leading worldwide provider of payment solutions, announced that its Telium 2 range is now certified with EMP (Emerging Markets Payments) requirements.

Working with more than 130 banks and 30 000 retailers, EMP is the leading electronic payments processing company in the Middle East and Africa. Thanks to the certification with Ingenico payment terminals, EMP customers can now benefit from a rich range of payment devices. Ingenico’s range is able to address the needs of both banks and retailers with the highest security level of certification (PCI PTS V3), a variety of connectivity options and an extended local presence.

Ingenico Telium devices are now certified by EMP; accepting local and international card schemes such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club and China UnionPay and providing value added services such as evoucher, bill payment, and loyalty. Combining Ingenico’s leading experience in the payment industry with EMP’s experience in electronic payments processing in emerging markets will create a substantial opportunity to meet the expectations of retailers and banks in the region.
