AIM, the industry association and worldwide authority on bar code, RFID, RTLS and mobile computing, will bring together world leaders in the automatic identification and data capture (AIDC) industry at the annual AIM Summit 2014 scheduled for September 8, 2014 at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City, located in the heart of the Washington, D.C., metro area.

This year’s Summit promises to be educational, motivational and inspirational. It will highlight the latest in technologies and industry trends, as well as case studies, standards and advances impacting organizations around the globe. Optional sessions, following the Summit itself, will allow attendees the ability to also participate in special meetings of the AIT Alliance and RAIN RFID Alliance.

AIM Summit 2014 will also feature a special luncheon to announce the recipients of the 2014 AIM Awards which recognize outstanding leadership, innovation and contributions to the AIDC industry in specific categories.

"AIM Summit 2014 will offer our members, as well as those interested in the AIDC industry, a unique opportunity to connect in so many areas,” said Mary Lou Bosco, AIM’s Chief Operating Officer. "This year we are excited to be visiting the Washington, D.C., region and look forward to having the ability to highlight the many ways automatic identification technologies are impacting both the private and public sectors in the U.S. and around the world.”
