Hong Kong apparel firm opts for Centric's PLM software

Regina Miracle International Ltd., Hong Kong based manufacturer of women’s innerwear, has selected Centric 8 Product Management Lifecycle (PLM) software by Centric Software Inc.
Alvin Hui, IT director at Regina Miracle said Regina Miracle will use the Centric 8 PLM software for apparel to better facilitate and optimize collaboration and communication between its customers and its internal sample development team.
All members of the sample development team which includes design, technical design, quality, costing, and materials personnel, as well as the Hong Kong sales team from the apparel firm will use the software, Centric informed in a press release.
Irene Huang, senior information manager at Regina Miracle, said that Centric 8 will guide Regina Miracle to better efficiency and productivity, and enable a more transparent and controllable sample management process. Centric PLM will be especially helpful for an Original Equipment/Original Design Manufacturing (OEM/ODM) business such as Regina Miracle.
The strength and flexibility of Centric 8 can handle the shorter product development cycle the company faces, along with the more comprehensive, detailed sample development requests required, Huang added.
