Visual 2000 integrates with Avalara sales tax management

Apparel End2End suite of software, Visual 2000 International Inc. has announced a new integration with Washington based firm, Avalara's, real-time sales tax calculation platform.
The integration is expected to make Avalara's extensive sales tax management tools available within the visual ERP.net software for fashion businesses, according to a press release.
Visual 2000's vice president of research and development, Charles Benoualid said, “It can be difficult to keep track of the thousands of rates, rule changes, and tax holidays while still focusing on running a successful apparel business. Avalara's tax rate calculation API will help our customers ensure they are efficient, tax compliant, and ultimately more successful.”
He added, “Given the global scale of apparel and fashion business, having one quality source for this type of specialized information is a huge opportunity for our ERP customers. We're looking forward to seeing how Avalara's data will help Visual 2000 users run a more efficient enterprise.”
Since starting in 2004, Avalara has grown to service thousands of customers in over 100 countries worldwide. Their web based platform currently tracks over twelve thousand different tax jurisdictions and houses one the largest libraries of statutory sales tax content.
The Avalara integration is available in Version 8, the latest release of the Visual 2000 software.
