Yunique PLM goes live in Garnet Hill Bedding & Home Div

Yunique Solutions Inc, developer of the fashion industry's top-ranked product lifecycle management (PLM) solutions, announces that direct marketer Garnet Hill has successfully implemented its plmOn product lifecycle solution in their Franconia, New Hampshire (USA) headquarters.
In replacing the company's earlier product data management software, the Yunique PLM solution went live in both the bedding and home division and the ready-to-wear clothing divisions in the summer of 2007.
Currently in use by design, product development, and quality control teams, the system's srmOn module will soon be used to integrate sourcing partners in online collaboration and other supplier relationship management (SRM) activities.
For more than 30 years, Garnet Hill has been dedicated to offering natural fiber products for the home and body. The company specializes in offering a distinctive brand of bedding, home furnishings, sleepwear, children's clothing, and women's wear. Garnet Hill distributes its products through catalogs, an e-commerce enabled web site, and outlet stores in New Hampshire and Vermont.
“As our business grew and changed over the years, we recognized a need for a more flexible system that could grow with us”, noted Paige LaFlamme, Director of MIS and 23 year member of the Garnet Hill 'family'. “The PDM software we installed in 1998 just could not keep up with the expanding number of catalogs and offers that we have today.
Our home and apparel divisions have completely different operations and needs. We needed a system that could not only manage all the product data, but one that would enable us to stay on top of our time and action calendars.”
