IT solutions leader CGS expands its executive team & staff in LA

Computer Generated Solutions Inc (CGS) a leader in innovative IT solutions and services announced that it has expanded its executive team and staff in LA to support strong demand in LA as well as across the western region. As part of this expansion, CGS appointed two new executives to lead the company's efforts to bring real innovations to clients as they work to improve efficiencies, competitiveness and profitability.
Troy Corfield, Vice President, Technology Solutions Training Sales, Western Region, who will oversee the Infrastructure and IT Services group, brings more than 20 years IT services experience to the company. Corfield joins CGS from Oracle, where he held the position Senior Consulting Director. Previously, Corfield held senior sales management and professional service positions at both CapGemini and IBM.
In response to increasing demand for BlueCherry, the company's supply chain solution for fashion, apparel and distribution, CGS appointed Elaine Collins as Vice President, Application Solution Sales, Western Region. Collins will be responsible for growth of the BlueCherry line throughout the Western States. Collins joins CGS from Sterling Commerce/AT&T, where she headed sales. Previously, Collins held sales management positions with PeopleSoft, SAP America, and J. D. Edwards & Company.
