Avery Dennison facilities gain FSC CoC Certification

“We are proud of our new FSC accreditation for our plants in China and Korea,” Dunn reports. “We have gained certification at facilities in other Avery Dennison Divisions, and in 2008 we expect more IBMD (Information and Brand Management Division) sites in Asia will attain the FSC CoC certification as well as facilities in the Americas and Europe.
The supply chain of FSC certified paper stocks, however, is dynamic and evolving. Avery Dennison has a dedicated team working to drive forward the development of all our eco-friendly brand identification solutions to meet the sustainable requirements of apparel brands and retailers around the world.”
The Forest Stewardship Council is a non-profit organization that promotes responsible management of the world's forests. The FSC CoC certification is the primary sustainable global standard for paper stock.
