Junction Solutions, a provider of vertical industry focused enterprise software and services based on the Microsoft platform, announced that Miles Kimball, a leader in the consumer catalog business, has gone live with JunctionRES, a retail enterprise solution built on Microsoft Dynamics AX.

Miles Kimball chose JunctionRES to replace its Ecometry retail solution based on its rich functionality, modern technology and scalability of the Microsoft platform.

Established in 1935, Miles Kimball is a recognized leader in the consumer catalog industry. Owned by Blyth Inc a $1.5B provider of home decor and home fragrance products, Miles Kimball Company consists of numerous catalog titles and mails about 120 million catalogs annually. Catalog orders can be taken over the phone, mail or on their websites through its online catalogs.

Miles Kimball chose JunctionRES to better manage its warehouse management, order management, merchandising and marketing processes. After reviewing many retail software vendors including Ecometry, CommercialWare and Profit Center Software, they chose JunctionRES for all 600 users.

JunctionRES is a complete retail enterprise solution that offers catalog companies, direct marketers, retailers and eCommerce companies a way to manage the entire retail process in one fully integrated database. Microsoft Dynamics AX is the foundation for JunctionRES based on the combination of unique flexibility, advanced technology, low cost of ownership, and high degree of scalability.
