Yxendis & Steiger partner to provide customer solutions

Steiger, a leader in flat knitting technology development has partnered with software experts Yxendis to cater to customer preferences regarding design, sampling and production of small quantities of high value-added knitted fabrics.

Yxendis has earned a reputation for developing three dimensional knitting creation and simulation software. It has recently introduced a solution in collaboration with Steiger to help fabric manufacturers speed up their collection time to market, improve the design process and help make enormous savings in sampling costs.

In an exclusive interview with Fibre2fashion, Mr Eric Gianina of Yxendis stated, “Our company (CAO /DAO) and STEIGER (ITEMA Group) technology leaders have decided to join their competences to launch the integrated textile solution from design to flat knitting production.”

Mr Gianina also gave details about the entire range of products that the company deals with including textile software and process speeder software. A host of solutions starting from Real 3D knitting, Dobby & Jacquard weaving, Print & engraving files coloration and 3D mapping to those required in working in collaborative platform, PDA sales order (on customers site, exhibitions), new breakthrough technology to print calibrated simulations, direct CAD-CAM data access and dynamics links with the European ERP leader Schaeffer Productique.
