Apparel Magazine recognizes Reflexis customer as Top Innovator

Reflexis Systems Inc announced Burlington Coat Factory has been recognized as a Top Innovator by Apparel Magazine. Apparel Magazine's 2008 Top Innovator awards recognize outstanding apparel brands, manufacturers, and retailers that have integrated innovative ideas, processes, or technologies into their businesses. Burlington Coat Factory received the award for implementing Retail Execution Management solutions from Reflexis that enabled the retailer to increase compliance levels, improve efficiency, and provide a better customer experience.

“Leading industry analysts recommend that retailers should implement task management solutions to ensure consistent store-level execution of their corporate strategy. However, despite proven benefits of increased sales and productivity, less than 20 percent of large retailers and even fewer mid-sized retailers use task management solutions,” said Jordan Speer, editor in chief, Apparel Magazine. “We congratulate Burlington Coat Factory for recognizing the importance of Retail Execution Management and implementing solutions that enable consistent execution of merchandising, loss prevention, and promotional initiatives in their stores.”

“By implementing Reflexis Task Manager, Burlington Coat Factory has increased productivity, streamlined communication, and boosted task compliance to 94 percent,” said Gloria Johnson, Vice President of e-Learning and Task Management.

“We also now communicate with stores immediately for product recalls and can pull merchandise off the shelves within hours nationwide. In addition, by implementing Reflexis StoreWalk on mobile computing devices, we have improved the efficiency of our managers in the field. Instead of being stuck behind a PC in an office, district and regional managers now perform store inspections and audits and report back to headquarters in real time from the sales floor, where they can spend more time providing leadership and helping customers.”
