RF Controls LLC, creators of the innovative Intelligent Tracking and Control System (ITCS), announced that they have become Lab Sponsors of the RFID Research Center at the University of Arkansas' Information Technology Research Institute of the Sam M. Walton College of Business.

RF Controls has donated one of its sophisticated Intelligent Tracking and Control Systems to the University, where it is used daily to augment the knowledge of students and to demonstrate the capabilities of advanced data capture systems to lab visitors.

ITCS is a standards-based high performance RFID and real-time location system, which is transforming the market's expectations of passive UHF RFID systems through its powerful combination of exceptionally long read range with precise 3D location and real-time tracking of tagged objects.

This unique combination of features grants end-users the ability to identify, locate and track tagged items on a zonal basis, without the need to establish restrictive data capture points such as portals.
