ecVision, an award-winning provider of product lifecycle and supply chain software solutions, has been included in Gartner's list of “PLM Vendors That Can Change the AFA Landscape” published on August 28, 2008 (ID Number: G00160237) and authored by Gartner analysts Peter Bambridge and Marc Halpern.

The report highlights six software providers serving apparel, footwear and accessories (AFA) manufacturers and retailers.

“We believe this report has confirmed our ability to exhibit 'agility, flexibility and commitment' as we provide retailers with a proven technology solution that is innovative and meets the customers' requirements to achieve greater ROI,” says Thomas Ng, CEO of ecVision.

XpressCommerce is a web-based solution that connects retailers to their supplier network, and delivers the key functions of product lifecycle management (PLM) and supply chain execution (SCE) systems in a single solution.

The key functionality in the system enables retailers to manage capacity and raw material reservations, global sourcing and costing negotiations, customer and purchase orders, track production and shipment milestones.

The framework supporting this functionality includes strong collaboration, reporting and visibility tools to provide management teams with the ability to make proactive decisions about their product lifecycle and supply chain operation.

With XpressCommerce, retailers are able to be more flexible with changing consumer trends, increase margins, improve productivity of their global supply network, and quickly deliver quality items to their customers.
