Lawson Fashion PLM solution receives top rankings

Lawson Software today announced that Lawson Fashion PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) received top rankings in two evaluation categories when benchmarked by the independent website WhichPLM.com. WhichPLM was created by independent PLM industry experts to help companies in their search of a PLM solution.
Lawson and the Lawson Fashion PLM solution were ranked first in the category “Commercials” and it tied for top ranking in the “Functionality” category. The “Commercials” category was based on the level of research and development dollars that technology providers commit to PLM-related initiatives as well as their support for regional-specific processes and fashion industry functionality.
This functionality includes product storyboard development, line optimization, sourcing, product management, fabric and trim, workflow and reports. Lawson Fashion PLM also ranked highly on other categories included in the evaluation.
Lawson Fashion PLM is a comprehensive tool for retailers and manufacturers of apparel, footwear, home textiles and accessories. It is a flexible, collaborative, web-based suite of applications facilitates the management of products, from design all the way through to production.
