CAD software's enjoy a wide range of application in various fields. In software industry, innovation is the key to success. Latest innovation is the 3D Runway Designer software, from OptiTex, which will reduce product development time and facilitate better quality output. Propped up with new features and models, this software aids designers and manufacturers for better quality fit for their designs, without cutting the fabric.

The software is specifically designed to be used as a communication tool among the retailers, subcontractors, designers, pattern makers, manufacturers and the engineering, merchandising, and management departments. All departments can instantaneously visualize the pattern modifications in full 3D mode, based on accurate CAD patterns and real characteristics of the fabric displayed. Nest++2 maximizes cloth usage to eliminate waste as it allows designers to provide precise cost proposals for clients.

Tackling the economic turmoil, OptiTex has set in India in a big way. While speaking with Fibre2Fashion, Mr. Saar Machtinger, Director, OptiTex India, states, "The OptiTex presence in the Indian fashion market is expanding. Fashion companies realize the production and financial incentive to use this innovative software. The OptiTex technology delivers a time and cost effective solution bringing Indian fashion into the forefront with more advanced technologies".

While commenting about the company's investment plans, Mr. Machtinger said, "We intend to invest heavily in the area, so as to broaden our presence in India and adjacent countries extensively. A massive and vigorous campaign is next to come. We have about 100 customers in India like Shahi, Orient Clothing and Orient Fashion, which are big corporations and many small businesses, in addition to international companies like Target, Coach, Tommy Hilfiger, Brides.com, Hugo Boss, Boeing, Porsche and many more".

Speaking about their business counterparts, Mr. Machtinger stated "OptiTex has a competitive edge over its contenders like Gerber and Lectra and even low price local companies like TukaTECH. He concluded the conversation saying that OptiTex is making sure that no business will be too big or too small: they will all purchase OptiTex software solutions!"

Anticipating the fact that the future of CAD industry is in outsourcing, the company is planning to upgrade their Bangalore service bureau to be one of the biggest in the country and enable to provide services such as 2D and 3D content creation to manufacturers, allowing them access to the service without actually buying the software.
