Wizzard Media to work with trendsetting fashion line Primp

Primp and Wizzard Media, the world's largest podcasting service, announced the launch of the podcast series “Primp”. Primp has been worn by celebrity fashionistas Jessica Simpson in the reality series “The Newlyweds,” Paris Hilton on “The Simple Life” and continues to be spotted on Hollywood “it” girls like Hayden Panitierre, Britney Spears, Rachel Bilson, Miley Cyrus, Tyra Banks, Lindsay Lohan and even Sasha Obama.

It's clear that the brand's slogan “What girl doesn't like to primp?” is true. The fashion line continues to be regularly featured in magazines such as InStyle, InTouch and Life&Style, and is available in 300 specialty stores nationwide and at fine department stores including Macy's, Nordstrom, and Bloomingdales. Primp is partnered with The Robert Thorne Company, a leading Hollywood management, brand consulting and strategic planning firm.

The Primp podcast will take audiences behind the scenes from design to delivery and show what it really takes to create one of the hottest luxury brands today. Wells Butler launched the line in the spring of 2004 and it is her tireless dedication to her vision that has lead to its success. In the podcast series Wells shares that success and is accessible and open about the process of design, discussing everything from her inspiration for the season's materials and girly prints the line is known for to how all the material is dyed and patterns are made.

“Through my podcast I hope to reach out in a new way to not only those who are already wearing my line but also to inspire others to follow their dreams and show them the work that is involved in making them a reality,” said Wells. “I chose global podcast leader Wizzard Media to share my work with other people who want to truly understand the work it takes before fashion gets to the runway.”

In addition to providing marketing and content development support, Wizzard Media, who announced 1.2 billion download requests in 2008, will also work to secure relevant ad campaigns from leading national brands for insertion into the Primp podcast.

Primp is currently expanding to a full apparel offering beyond its current knits and basics product, and is actively developing footwear, handbags and other accessories, and beauty and home products in the States and elsewhere.
