Noetix bags 'Best of Show' award at COLLABORATE

Noetix Corp., a software provider that automatically generates business intelligence (BI) content from enterprise applications, announced it won three prestigious awards, including “Best of Show,” at the annual Oracle Applications Users Group (OAUG) conference, COLLABORATE 09, which was held May 3 – 7 in Orlando. The Exhibitor Awards program, hosted by the OAUG Forum, honors those OAUG exhibitors who demonstrate excellence in brand marketing, creativity, innovation, and booth staffing with the Best of Show competition that includes several different categories.

A panel of OAUG member judges selected Noetix as “Best Traffic Stopper” and “Most Visionary” for a booth 400 sq. ft. or larger. The “Best Traffic Stopper” award goes to booths that tend to create traffic jams on the show floor and go above and beyond to attract and excite tradeshow attendees. The “Most Visionary” award goes to the exhibitor with the most creative and unique booth design, including the best technical implementation, layout, and flow.

“As a Five-Star Partner of the OAUG for the past six years and a member of the organization since 1994, Noetix has had a long-standing commitment to helping Oracle customers maximize the return on their investments in Oracle Applications,” said Denise Quashie, director of Strategic Relations for the OAUG. “We always look forward to seeing how the Noetix marketing team will pull out all the stops with their innovation and strategic thinking, and this year was no exception. At this year's show, the buzz around the Noetix booth was palpable, and through a creative marketing campaign the company extended its presence to every corner of the show floor.”

As one of its many promotional activities during the tradeshow, Noetix gave away tuxedo front t-shirts featuring the company's 15-year anniversary logo on the back. The shirt came wrapped with a letter instructing show attendees that “Getting Noticed Pays.” Those who wore the shirt and were seen by a Noetix “Tuxedo Spotter” received a special entry form for a drawing to win a grand prize of $1,500 or one of 15 second place prizes of $100. The more the attendees wore their anniversary tuxedo shirts throughout the show, the more chances they had to enter the drawing held in the booth on the last day of the event.

“It was especially gratifying for us to win the esteemed 'Best of Show' honor during our 15th year in business,” said Sally Hicks, director, marketing at Noetix. “Noetix's exhibit marketing theme for COLLABORATE 09 was designed around our anniversary celebration concept, and it was honestly a lot of fun being able to see how our integrated campaign and its different elements finally came together on the show floor.”
