GSI Commerce Inc, the leading provider of e-commerce and multichannel solutions, announced the company will hold its annual client summit, GSI Commerce Connect 2009, on Wednesday, June 24, and Thursday, June 25, in Philadelphia, Pa. The event will address trends in e-commerce, including the heightened interest in Internet strategies among executives of GSI's clients, which include leading brands, retailers and professional sports leagues.
Retailers are turning to the Web as a key growth engine for their businesses. Attendees at GSI Commerce Connect 2009 will explore ways to take their companies to the next level by leveraging online sales and marketing channels. Key highlights of the summit will include:

The chief executive panel will include the top executives from three GSI client organizations: Roger Goodell, Commissioner of the National Football League (NFL), Jerry Storch, chairman and CEO, Toys“R”Us Inc and Julian R. Geiger, chairman and CEO, Aéropostale Inc. Moderating the panel will be Lauren Levitan, founding partner of Moxie Capital LLC, a private equity firm. Panelists will discuss changes in consumer behavior, the shifting of the retail landscape, and the rise of alternate media channels.
