Topcut buys bullmer

Effective from July 1st 2009, the company TopCut GmbH, Gersthofen Germany, has purchased all property and assets of assyst/bullmer Spezialmaschinen GmbH, Mehrstetten and now runs the business of the machine factory with the remaining 63 employees.

Bullmer is a leading manufacturer of automatic cutters and spreading machines for the clothing and textile industries.

The deal was executed together with the Chinese shareholder and investor New Jack Sewing Machine Co Ltd., Zhejiang. The managing partner Mr. Anton Stahl explains that the investor expects synergies through new market shares and addition of products with the attractive reputation "made in Germany". The two merged companies will trade under the name bullmer-topcut.
