CREATETHE GROUP, the digital commerce leader for the world's most elite brands, announced the latest release of its enterprise-class e-commerce platform, CTS/SELL. CTS/SELL has been upgraded to seamlessly support global e-commerce initiatives, including the ability to create multiple sites that can be centrally managed from one platform.

CTS offers continuous innovation and unparalleled flexibility that enables retailers to create a unique, branded shopping experience. As part of this digital commerce software platform, CREATETHE GROUP's visual merchandising and content management systems now support localized content for an unlimited set of regions, languages and currencies. Merchandisers and content owners use CTS' cross-platform, cross-browser rich Internet application (RIA) tools to easily manage multi-region rollouts that are differentiated by local range plans, pricing, availability and content.

“Being able to manage multiple sites on one platform enables brands to respond to worldwide consumer trends while applying regional strategies that take into account cultural nuances,” said James Gardner, co-founder and CEO of CREATETHE GROUP. “Global rollouts of both brand and e-commerce sites are now a top priority for all of our clients. We're proud to be ahead of the curve, rolling out global sites on a single platform – first with dunhill, next with La Perla and with several premium brands to quickly follow.”

dunhill, the British luxury men's brand, is the first retailer to utilize CTS/SELL's global e-commerce platform. Previously, dunhill had separate brand and e-commerce sites, and chose to work with CREATETHE GROUP because the company understands how to not only revitalize its brand online, but also how to develop a seamless and scalable global e-commerce solution. Launched in April, dunhill.com features a revamped e-commerce site supporting 15 delivery regions, four languages and four currencies integrating against three order fulfillment warehouses and three payment gateways.

“The new site marries the dunhill luxury brand experience with the localization of the in-store experience. Now, no matter where a customer is doing their online shopping, they are in an online store that caters to the regional distinctions to which they are accustomed,” said Richard Ascott, head of e-commerce at dunhill. “And for dunhill, we can easily, efficiently and more cost-effectively manage all of these regional sites from one central platform.”

Allen Kung, CREATETHE GROUP's chief technology officer and founding member, sees the technology platform as being uniquely positioned in the marketplace to better serve the needs of global retailers: “Our CTS offering is truly a hybrid solution that combines the best of traditional software with the best of SaaS delivery. We are on-demand where it counts. Through our centrally managed hosting, application stack and rich application tools we are able to generate significant economies of scale, translating into cost efficiencies that are passed down to our clients. Unlike other on-demand companies, we apply a traditional software model to support our clients' needs for customization. This includes the ability to fully customize the presentation layer to provide innovative user experiences, as well as to custom integrate with their preferred partners.”
