Centric Software hosts customer advisory board meeting

Centric Software hosted a fashion and consumer goods Customer Advisory Board meeting last week in New York, New York.
The event included executives from Centric and their customers for a series roundtable discussions focused on issues facing the fashion and fast-moving consumer goods industries. Leaders from retail, manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers were among the Centric customer companies that participated in the event.
"Centric provided a forum for networking and sharing ideas that have real impact to my business," said Nicolas Thibault, exclusive brands business unit manager for INTERSPORT France. "Over the course of the two days, we focused on challenges and trends we see within our industry. We were also able to influence the roadmap of Centric solutions to ensure we achieve our future goals."
Discussion topics at Centric's Customer Advisory Board meeting included:
- Challenges and concerns faced by fashion and fast-moving consumer goods companies.
- Best practices in several critical operational areas, including successful PLM system implementations to assure high user adoption and quick return on investment.
- Best practices in global sourcing for effective private label programs.
- Managing product profitability to assure that new products achieve gross margin objectives.
- Proposed future directions for Centric product capabilities.
