Cutter & Buck to share their PLM success with industry

Gerber Technology, a business unit of Gerber Scientific, Inc and a world leader in automated CAD/CAM and PLM solutions for the apparel and flexible materials industry, will sponsor a customer case study presentation featuring upscale golf and sportswear company Cutter & Buck at the March 23 Apparel Tech Conference West in Los Angeles. The session, entitled “24/7 Global Operations: Supply Chain & PLM - A Customer Case Study,” will be presented by Bobbie Jo Foster, Business Systems Manager for Cutter & Buck's Product Group in Seattle, Washington. Ms. Foster will discuss the company's rapid deployment of YuniquePLM and the many benefits achieved through successful adoption of the technology across 45 supply chain partner companies.
Through the case study, Cutter & Buck will share its keys to success in gaining partner and user buy-in for its global PLM implementation. Fashion and apparel companies planning or conducting supply chain collaboration initiatives will also learn firsthand the many benefits the company has achieved in recent years through YuniquePLM including streamlined business processes, increased supply chain visibility and collaboration, improved access to accurate and consistent product information, and other significant business improvements.
“We believe that bringing together internal teams and suppliers is the best way to maximize the benefit of PLM,” stated Ms. Foster. “Extending PLM to our vendor partners completed the circle and enabled us to build stronger partnerships with our suppliers. During the process, we found that our suppliers embraced the use of PLM technology and were able to integrate it into their processes.
