Coldwater Creek, the multi-channel retailer of women's apparel, jewelry, fashion and home accessories, and gift items, launched a mobile website on June 24, 2010 that supports the iPhone and Android platforms. The new mobile website is an optimized version of Coldwater Creek's ecommerce site that allows for easy viewing and navigation from these mobile devices. Coldwater Creek is one of the first women's apparel companies to launch a mobile website.
Utilizing resized and reformatted versions of the pages of the brand's ecommerce site, coldwatercreek.com, the new mobile website allows the user to see each page, in full, on the screen of an iPhone or Android, eliminating the need to scroll or zoom. Navigation throughout the shopping experience has been optimized for touch screen devices.
