Global Bay to power M-Commerce enabled application for True

Global Bay Mobile Technologies, a leading provider of next-generation mobile retail software, announced the availability of the first iPhone application for premium denim and sportswear brand True Religion Brand Jeans. Available as a free download in the iTunes store, the True Religion iPhone app allows users to access core product information, purchase products, and more.
The True Religion iPhone application offers a rich mobile experience for True Religion customers with a number of features designed to maximize the user experience. Users who download the app will be able to browse up to date product information, view multiple product images of each item, share products with friends through email, Facebook, and Twitter, and purchase products. Additionally, the app features a comprehensive store locator feature that provides a list of the nearest True Religion retail stores and shows their location on Google Maps.
“Supporting e-commerce purchasing ability on mobile is a logical extension of our multi-channel Web strategy, and the iPhone represents a key tool that allows us to interact with a very important customer demographic,” said Ben Lau, True Religion E-Commerce Manager. “As mobile purchases become an increasing part of our revenue, it is essential to offer this alternative shopping method to our on-the-go shoppers. Global Bay was able to seamlessly integrate with our e-commerce systems to create a very compelling app that went live in the iTunes store extremely fast.”
“It was very important for the True Religion iPhone app to maintain the integrity of the brand, so our goal was to replicate the brand's look and feel within the app,” said Global Bay CEO Sandeep Bhanote. “We took great care to develop an application that met our high standards for functionality, and to that end, this project was a huge success.”
