NIFT & Lectra to host Technova 2017 Graduation Show

Lectra, the world leader in integrated technology solutions, specifically designed for industries using fabrics, leather, technical textiles, and composite materials, and the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), are set to host Technova 2017, the annual Graduation show of the institute, at Hotel Novotel, Kolkata, on May 27, 2017.

Lectra, the largest apparel CAD solution provider has collaborated with NIFT for the Graduation Show. The top official of Lectra will present the latest technology solutions during the show. The show will also feature Industry expert’s views on sustainability of textile and apparel industry. Stalwarts from Industries like Jayasree Textiles and Amrit Exports will enlighten the audience with their expert knowledge. Expert from Sri Lanka will also talk about how sustainable growth can be attained through the right kind of machinery and production technology.

The show will also feature the students’ work during the graduation project which they have done in collaboration with companies like Shahi Exports, Radnik Exports, Arvind Lifestyle Brands, Shoppers’ Stop, Future Group, Raymond, CTL Apparel etc. Some of the students have done their researches in collaboration with academic institutions also. The immense talents of the youth will be exposed during the program along with the knowledge sharing of industry experts. (GK)
