Triumph International, one of Europe's largest intimate apparel companies, has selected Centric Software to provide its product lifecycle management (PLM) solution.

As a successful global manufacturer of lingerie, underwear, sleepwear, and swimwear, Triumph sought a PLM solution that would manage the complexity and scale of their operations. Triumph now plans to implement Centric 8 in the brand, design, development, and sourcing processes of both its Triumph and sloggi brands.

With the challenge of increased competition in a tight market, Triumph had been seeking ways to increase and improve their efficiency. In order to enhance their data flows and development processes. They decided to look for a PLM solution that would simplify development, add structure, remove inefficiencies, and increase transparency and clarity, according to a press release.

Triumph plans to implement Centric's core PLM solution, Centric 8, across the sloggi brand first, and then add the Triumph brand in a second phase. The final phase will include the Triumph's Japan business. Triumph anticipates that the “single version of the truth” concept at the heart of Centric's PLM solution will help the company to shorten lead times, reduce costs, become more efficient and streamline operations.

Rainer Zeusche, head of master data governance at Triumph International said, “We were looking for a 'backbone' for our data flows and communication. Essentially, we needed to standardise the whole process. Previously, we had been using spreadsheets, which was very time-consuming. With Centric on board, we are looking forward to having an easy to use, harmonised tool that will allow us to share processes and information efficiently and transparently.”

Andreas Salzer, SAP process manager at Triumph International said, “We chose Centric because their agile approach makes it easy to get people involved, but we don't have to define everything from the beginning. Centric's solution is flexible and user-friendly. We also appreciate the expertise of Centric's consultants – they are always able to support with best-practices, answer your questions and really understand our business.”

Chris Groves, president and CEO of Centric Software said, “We are very excited to work with Triumph as they implement our core PLM solution. Our expert consultants will help Triumph implement Centric 8 and will partner with them through all phases of the project as they move their data and production processes to the new system.” (GK)
