Warehouse Mobile Solutions, a leading apparel software company in the US, has launched the new WarehouseOS (WOS) software solution for apparel companies. Apparel firms need a reliable solution that empowers them to focus on designing and supplying apparel products to their customers, without worrying about all the details inside their fulfilment centres.

WOS is designed to enable any fulfilment team to manage everything inside the facility, from the time products are received, until they are packed for shipping to the customer. In addition, the order fulfilment process is integrated with shopping carts and shipping solutions utilising WOS InstaLink application. One can seamlessly download orders and update webstore inventory in real-time, according to a company press release.

After installing WOS, users can enjoy the benefits of knowing where every SKU is located and exactly how many are available to sell in real-time. In addition, the entire facility can be managed utilising the WOS App for the flow of products, from the time they are received, through putaway, picking, replenishment, and packing. This process involves operators on the floor utilising iPads that are tracked and managed by WOS to ensure full accountability.

One of Warehouse Mobile Solutions’ clients, ‘Sparkle In Pink’, has been recognised as a top innovator by Apparel Magazine in 2018 through the use of the WOS software.

WOS is a new tablet-based Warehouse Operations System that brings warehouses into the future today. Warehouse management systems have been around for a long time with too many companies still using the RF gun to conduct inventory management, scan in new items, and pick orders. The RF gun solutions typically cost double what modern solutions offer. WOS and associated apps have been developed to make everything about the warehouse easier and better. Apps allow small or large companies to receive products, manage inventory, perform cycle counting, conduct single picks or do batch picking, verify items picked and pack them into boxes. A team of experts in material handling equipment and solutions developed WOS to maximise the throughput of warehousing and distributing facilities. (GK)
