Wyclef is going to launch its new clothing line through DIA Clothing support.
Everyone's talking about the Fugees' plans to record a new album, and now you can show your enthusiasm by sporting items from Wyclef's new clothing line.
The producer/musician has launched Refugee by DIA Clothing, which mixes contemporary and cosmopolitan with a European influence. The company's message? We are all refugees. The mission is to promote unity and cultural awareness.
"Everyone in the United States is a refugee to some degree," Wyclef said in a statement. "No one's culture originated here. In the past either our parents or ancestors left their homelands to come here for various reasons. People die because they are refugees. People need to remember that.” Refugee by DIA currently retails for $30 to $600 in select locations, and a women's line will hit stores in early 2006.
