23rd Mar, 2017 to 24th Mar, 2017 at PHD House, New Delhi, India Technical Textile is the sunrise segment of the global Textile industry. The Technical Textile industry accounts for over 50% of the total textile activity in certain industrialised countries. With increasing competition and diminishing margins in the production of conventional textiles, textile manufacturers have switched over to production of value-added technical textiles. The market for the global technical textiles industry has seen an upward surge since 2000. The Asia-Pacific region accounted for around 33.13% of the total market share in terms of value in 2014, followed by the North American and European regions at 29.13% and 24.02 %, respectively. Against this backdrop PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry in association with Regional Office of the Textile Commissioner, Noida, Ministry of Textiles, Government of India and Northern India Textile Research Association (NITRA) is organizing ‘Exhibition cum Buyer-Seller Meet on Technical Textiles’ on 9th and 10th March 2017 at PHD
