JEC, the world-renowned resource for composites industry services, support and expertise, announced a new strategic partnership with Messe Frankfurt, Inc. – a major global tradeshow organizer – in a move designed to significantly broaden the group’s robust array of resources for the Americas.

Marking another major step forward in its 50-year history serving the Americas composites industry, JEC will leverage its new relationship with Messe Frankfurt, Inc. to co-locate its new annual springtime JEC Americas Composites Show & Conference from May 13-15, 2014 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta with two of Messe Frankfurt, Inc.'s events: Techtextil North America and Texprocess Americas.

As a permanent source of knowledge and networking, JEC Group’s strategy is to strengthen its activity both on a global basis and in its three main regions (America, Europe and Asia). In North America, JEC Group is fully committed to serving the American composites industry through its media, summits, clusters and, starting in 2014, two annual events: a new spring JEC Americas event in Atlanta and the well-established JEC Americas Conference in Boston each autumn.

“We are very proud to announce our new strategic alliance with Messe Frankfurt, Inc.,” said Frédérique Mutel, JEC Group President and CEO. “The Americas are a major global center of composites innovation, and are a beacon for industry players who wish to compete and thrive in the largest worldwide market. Teaming up with Messe Frankfurt, Inc. allows a strong presentation of technical textiles and composites solutions that will drive both industries forward. The JEC Board of Administration representing the composites industry is actively supporting this new cooperation.”

“We are very pleased with the new strategic alliance with the JEC Group” said John Gallagher, Messe Frankfurt Inc., President. “Composites are a critical, innovative product segment for technical textiles and this long term agreement allows a blending within the technical textiles and composites value chain—material producers, equipment manufacturers, end product fabricators and composite users.”

Three Events, One location

JEC’s third annual JEC Americas Exhibition & Conference in Atlanta will focus on the full composites value chain – from raw materials to manufacturing processes – and further underscores JEC’s unyielding commitment to the Americas’ composites industry.

To be launched in conjunction with Messe Frankfurt, Inc.’s Techtextil North America and Texprocess Americas, the 2014 JEC event will bring global composites industry stakeholders together in one place.
