NuOrder introduces Virtual Showroom
13 May 20 2 min read
Los Angeles-based B2B e-commerce platform NuOrder has introduced Virtual Showroom, where brands will showcase products via an immersive online experience. Shoppable content and the ability to see products in 360 will help to solve the key issues brands and retailers are facing in light of the extensive travel restrictions due to COVID-19.
"NuOrder’s new Virtual Showroom offering comes at a crucial time when the fashion, apparel and outdoor industries are conducting business remotely and the virtual buying process has become increasingly essential for brands and retailers," the company said in a press release.
Features of Virtual Showroom include 360 degree product imagery which enables buyers to interact with the product and gear as if they were seeing it in person. NuOrder’s 360 imagery allows users to view products from all angles, and zoom-in to see close-up details like weight and fabrication.
Brands can add premium content such as runway looks, video footage, collection notes, inspiration imagery, designer interviews to their pages. Further, interactive virtual showroom with shoppable hotspots provides buyers with examples of how products are merchandised.
Time-coded video demonstrates the fit and movement of specific garments and can demonstrate the technical performance of new materials and product lines with shoppable videos.
NuOrder will also offer its brand and retailer partners access to a global photography network to support 360 degree product photography needs.
“We are in a period of great change in our industry. Our customers need a solution to present and sell their products in the absence of any travel. With the uncertainty of physical markets, trade shows and fashion events, we know that the Virtual Showroom will help solve the needs for brands and retailers alike during this critical time,” said NuOrder co-CEO and co-founder Heath Wells.
The Virtual Showroom works with more than 2,000 brands and 500,000 retailers. It will become available for its brands and retailer partners in June-July.
