Asian benzene prices fall past week

Benzene prices edged lower in Asia in the last week because of sluggish demand trend in the region.
In Korea, average prices inched down by US$ 10/ton and secured at US$ 855/ton in the last week, a drop of 1.16 per cent compared to the previous week.
In Japan, average prices marched lower by US$ 10/ton and quoted at US$ 860/ton in the last week, a declination of 1.15 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.
In India, average prices moved down by US$ 5/ton and recorded at US$ 870/ton in the last week, a reduction of 0.57 per cent over the previous week.
