Sustained demand supports higher benzene prices in US

Benzene prices soared in US in the last week due to sustained product demand in the region.

In US, average prices went up by 5 cents/gallon and quoted at 260 cents/gallon, an advancement of 1.92 per cent as compared to previous week.
 
Meanwhile, in Europe, benzene prices enhanced by US$ 35/ton and assessed at US$ 810/ton, a hike of 4.52 per cent compared to the previous week due to positive market fundamentals in the region.
