Bronze for Filatex at SRTEPC Export Awards for MMF exports

Man-made fibre (MMF) manufacturer Filatex India Ltd was honoured with the ‘Bronze Award’ at the recently held Export Awards in Mumbai by the Synthetic & Rayon Textiles Export Promotion Council (SRTEPC) for outstanding export performance for 2018-19. Incorporated in 1990, the company has two production facilities at Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Dahej in Gujarat.
The company exports to 42 countries and exports contribute nearly 20 per cent to its overall revenues. The total current production capacity is 3,82,000 TPA, according to a company press release.
The award function was graced by textiles minister Smriti Irani.
