- The AATCC has invited both members and non-members to its spring committee weeks in April-May 2023.
- The events will be held both in-person and virtually, with a welcome reception, networking events, and technical committee meeting.
- Attendees will have the opportunity to renew professional connections and contribute to the development of AATCC test methods.
AATCC administrative meetings use a completely virtual format. Participants will be able to join the administrative meetings from anywhere to help plan AATCC conferences, publications, membership campaigns, and more, the AATCC said in a press release.
The research committee meetings are held in a hybrid format to allow maximum participation. In-person meetings will be held at the AATCC Technical Center in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, US. Registration for virtual or in-person attendance can be done online. Hotel and shuttle details as well as the detailed schedule are also available online.
On May 16, 2023, from 9:00–9:25 am, a welcome reception will be held and AATCC updates and introductions will be given. Attendees can expect staff and key officers to give them an informal overview of what to expect, what to do, and who to ask.
A networking reception will be held at the Hotel Hyatt House on May 16 from 5:00–6:00 pm. A shuttle will be available from the Technical Center at the conclusion of Tuesday’s meetings.
A Technical Committee on Research (TCR) meeting will be held on May 17 from 3:15–3:55 pm. It will include a brief report from each committee.
Research committees develop and update the AATCC test methods and procedures recognised and used around the world. Besides working directly on the technical or editorial details of test methods, attendees will have the opportunity to make and renew professional connections with fellow members.
