- Uniqlo has extended its official supplier agreement with the Swedish Ski Association for another year, providing competition apparel and LifeWear for Sweden's mogul team.
- This partnership aims to support athletes and officials.
- Sweden's mogul team's strong performance last season led to the extension, as Uniqlo's apparel contributed to their success.
Sweden's mogul team performed very well last season. Highlights included Walter Wallberg finishing third overall and Filip Gravenfors securing a Rookie of the Year award. The new agreement extension reflects the Swedish Ski Association's conviction that Uniqlo apparel helped its athletes perform at their best, the company said in a press release.
The relationship between Uniqlo and the Swedish Ski Association has flourished since it began in 2021. Under the partnership, Uniqlo is developing items in consultation with the mogul team as it prepares for the Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Games. The partners also work closely together on the Uniqlo Dream Project, an initiative to inspire children and youth to discover a love of sport. As part of this project, the partners jointly hosted World Mogul Camp by Uniqlo, which included classes and contests for up-and-coming athletes.
"I am delighted that Sweden's mogul team has worn Uniqlo clothing since we began our agreement in 2021. Developing clothing in cooperation with world-class athletes helps Uniqlo to continue innovating our LifeWear for customers. Today's extension also means we can continue collaborating on initiatives that engage and develop young people through sport, such as our World Mogul Camp by Uniqlo, held in Sapporo this year with Wallberg,” Koji Yanai, group senior executive officer at Fast Retailing, said.

"We appreciate Uniqlo’s robust support through this partnership. Uniqlo again created some fabulous gear for this season, making detailed improvements through discussions and fittings with athletes. We look forward to our team performing even better than last season. We will keep working with Uniqlo to convey the joy and appeal of winter sports to people the world over,” Robert Hansson, sports director of the Swedish Ski Association, said.
"I love Uniqlo’s mogul apparel, which handles all weather conditions well and enables us to do our best. I am impressed by the simple designs and quality of LifeWear and its diverse range. I hope to win the Golden Globe at the World Cup this season in Uniqlo clothing,” Walter Wallberg said.
