David Hagglund new creative director of Topshop & Topman

Arcadia Group has appointed David Hagglund as the new creative director of Topshop and Topman, replacing Kate Phelan and Gordon Richardson. He will join the Group on September 4 along with Paul Price, the new CEO of Topshop and Topman. Hagglund has his own creative agency in Stockholm and has worked with clients like H&M and Hugo Boss in the past.

Hagglund had also worked as the managing director of Storakers McCann and art director at Vogue Paris, before launching his agency.
Phelan, the current creative director of Topshop and Richardson, the creative director of Topman have been in the company for 6 and 17 years, respectively. They are slated to leave the company later this year.
Besides Hagglund and Price, Arcadia Group has also appointed Baroness Karren Brady, as the new chairman of the company. (KD)
