FineLine Technologies Inc., industry’s fastest supplier of retail ticketing, RFID, and barcode labeling, has acquired RER International, manufacturer of tags and labels. As part of the acquisition, RER has moved its headquarters from Forrest Hills, NY to FineLine’s headquarters in Norcross, Georgia. RER’s business is now conducted under the brand of FineLine.
"We welcome RER’s great customer base to the FineLine family," said FineLine’s chief executive officer and chairman George Hoffman. "Many of RER’s customers already work with FineLine, and we know they will all enjoy the extensive benefits and capabilities that we offer. For example, China-based customers now have access to in-country services that will save them both time and shipping costs. Overall, the customers of RER can expect supply chain improvements with minimal changes to their business operations."
The acquisition has provided the customers of RER with the benefits of FineLine’s global production hubs in the United States and China. (RR)
