HanesBrands to host second annual National Legwear Day
19 Sep 18 1 min read
Hanes Hosiery, a leading seller of women’s sheer hosiery in the US and part of HanesBrands, a global manufacturer of legwear, is set to host the second annual National Legwear Day on September 22, 2018. The National Legwear Day encourages everyone to express their individual styles with sheers, tights, leggings, anklets, and men’s, women’s, and kids’ socks.
Legwear, from tights to socks, is a versatile fall favourite and an affordable accessory that can instantly add personality and polish to any outfit for both women and men, according to Cathleen Moxham, HanesBrands’ director of legwear design and merchandising.
“Stylish black tights or a pop of bright colour from socks can make anyone feel ‘put together’ and more confident. Likewise, a fun fishnet or dramatic pattern on socks can remix an outfit and change your perspective. We hope everyone will challenge themselves to try a new legwear style, colour or pattern on National Legwear Day,” Moxham said in a press release. (GK)
