15 Dec 18 1 min read
Indian denim brand Mufti recently announced expansion of its footwear with a strategy that included launching its latest Autumn Winter footwear collection. The expansion of its footwear segment is a part of the company’s vision of becoming a ₹1,000-crore brand in the next three years, according to company founder-cum-managing director Kamal Khushlani.
The company took the initiative after in-depth research that revealed the rising demand for trendy footwear in the casual segment for men, according to a news agency report.
In the last 12 months, Mufti launched a select range in its top 100 stores to gauge consumer sentiment. The brand is now looking at beefing up the distribution of its footwear collection in more than 500 locations comprising multi-brand outlets, standalone stores and network of retailers in 2019.
The company plans to offer good quality products at accessible prices in the casual and sports lifestyle segments. (DS)
