KappAhl, a leading fashion chain in the Nordic region with 380 KappAhl and Newbie stores, including Shop Online, in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Poland and Great Britain, has cancelled no orders that have been produced, and has paid all amounts agreed. The company is in dialogue with its suppliers to change some of the not yet produced orders.

In response to Fibre2Fashion's email to KappAhl asking how the company intends to support its suppliers during the current crisis, production manager Sarah Dahlin said, "KappAhl’s intention is to cooperate with our suppliers and jointly find constructive solutions that help all parties during the corona pandemic. So far, we have cancelled no orders that have been produced, and we have paid all amounts agreed.

"At the moment, some of our summer items are 4-10 weeks late. We are monitoring the situation closely and, in dialogue with our suppliers, we may have to change some of the not yet produced orders if they cannot be delivered in time for the season of which they are intended. This, in order to help us to deal with the supply delays and also to have the ability to remain a long-term buyer.”
